I have little confidence in the SCCA or it's attempts to institute "parity"
It reminds me of the "parity' solutions back in the hayday of NHRA
Superstock racing in the late 60s and early 70s.
Anyway a wise veteran has told me that when the 494 ceased production it
took the SCCA several years to allow the 493. In that case my 494 should be
good for awhile more.

I don't see why not. The SCCA would most likely try to legislate some kind
of
parity measures...for your boat anchor. ;-)
