Some of these discussions crack me up!!! If the SCCA put the 493 in the season following the announcement that the 494 was out of production, and didn't offer the weight handicap, everybody with 494's would have bitched that their motors were outdated... I think the SCCA did a pretty good job of slowly introducing the motor and ajusting the weights, not their fault that Rotax dropped another motor. What about a 492? CR
