Hi John, My Kawasaki has a 32/110 gear which comes out to a (3.4 to 1) ratio. I have not run the car flat out but we have run it on a 1.5 mile road course which ws used for a autocross. The course was fairly open with a few offsets and saw speeds in the 80's. Several other drivers at this event had run this course with Formula Mazda's under road course conditions with about the same results. Our car initial acceleration was very good but it does tend to tapper off. We primarily Autocross this car and it still performs very well with this ratio even in Autocross. J. Murphy can confirm the quickness of this car when we ran him a few years ago at a SE Div. event. Good luck and let us know how it does flat out !! I wish I had the chance to turn our's loose.
