Tire scrubing? Do you have a posi tandem axle?
They scrub tires like mad when you turn corners.
Talk to a trailer expert, they all say the tandems tow better, maybe it's the weight, >but logically, they can roll down the road without tow vehicle, do the math....
They don't buck and bounce as hard on the tongue. That does't mean they are actually easier to pull. I'm a trailer expert. I've pulled them for years, and usually they had somewhere near 100,000 lbs on them. 8-)
