Ed, I agree 100%, the point I was making is that the extra axle adds lots of 
weight and drag, and I was thinking that it would kill a v6.  If you have a 
deisel dualie I still think the tandem torsion axle tows the best....
   Ed, do you have leafs or torsions?

You are correct as it is a single axle. I have had no problems towing with 
it (over 900 miles so far thru rotten weather)nor did I have any problem 
with my old trailer which also was a single axle. (open landscaping trailer) 
I have towed both open and closed trailers and both single and dual axles. 
For heavier race cars or if you want to keep prying fingers away I suppose 
the tandem enclosed trailer is the best deal but it is more than I needed 
for this light weight F500. More axles equal more tires on the ground equal 
more friction loss and more fuel consumption and perhaps higher tolls at 
bridges and toll roads. I think this little single axle will fit the bill 
nicely.
