I have a 4wd F-150 and I never use 4wd mode for towing but I could. Just 
never needed it. From a resale value standpoint 4 wd is money in the 
bank. And good trucks have reliable 4wd systems that you shouldn't have 
to worry about. I imagine they all have electronic 4wd these days .. 
they should.

In the future you might want to use the forum .. it's where all the 
conversation is these days ..
