Things just happen. They always have just happened.
For some strange reason a sense of "I" do those things
that just happen sprang-up for some time. Then that
sense of "I" goes away and only just happen returns.
"You" no longer exist. Nothing is there! It's really
quite amazing. Call it infinity but it is infinity
outside of time and space. It is neither an object or
a subject. It makes your hair stand on end! So much of
this talk about "it" is silly. It just is, without
being an object or subject. No understanding of the
mind can remotely touch it. Until that identification
stops, you don't have a clue (although your mind
thinks it does). Then That withdraws identifying with
anything, falls back into itself and the mind screams!
What is left is just That!

p.s. Try not using your mantra for several days. Many
peoples minds have incorporated the mantra into their
chit and it just creates more noise. Notice how you
don't transcend anymore like you used to?
Self-Inquire. Sit quietly and place your attention on
your sense of "I". Hold it gently in place. When the
mind wonders bring it back. When any thought comes,
ask "To whom does this come?" to bring the attention
back on this "I"-thought. This is an experiential
process, not intellectual. Feel this sense of "I" and
gently hold the attention on it regardless of
anything. Amen.
