---Fred, I don't quite understand. Either GOD is a Personality (a
particular Personality, as opposed to others), or b. Is Brahman, or
c. some other definition.
Your first post on the subject seems to imply that you wish to
worship YHVH as opposed to "gods" and other contenders to the Throne
of Deity (since the Hare Krishnas say that Krishna is the Supreme
Personality of Godhead).
So, the contender for Supreme Commander can't be Barak AND Hillary.
He/She has to be one OR the other.
But in a later post you seem to equate YHVH with BRAHMAN. If
YHVH=BRAHMAN, what's the bone of contention? Most of the TB TM
practitioners (like myself), don't place any Personality ahead of
Brahman.
Refer to MMY's Bhagavad Gita and reflect upon the a possible reason
why he left out the later chapters. As I recall, chapter 11? is
heavily into Krishna worship. The Hare Krishna Guru spent much of
his career dissing MMY, calling him a charlatan, thief, etc; and
touting his own version of the BG: "The BG As It is". And btw, AC
Bhaktivedanta Swami was an erudite Sanskrit scholar, whereas MMY
wasn't.
So, either God is a certain Personality as opposed to others, or is
Brahman, or other venues can be proposed. But in choosing one
option, we reject the others.
