You bring up some interesting points, but I think I
already dealt with them in my response to your previous
post quoting scripture. You feel strongly about your
allegiance to a former spiritual trip, and so do I, but
in very different ways -- my allegiance is to the well-
being of the students, not the teacher. And you have
assumptions about how one is "supposed" to act with
regard to a teacher that I do not share, and never have.
"One path fits all" is about as true in the world of
spirituality as "one size fits all" is in a shoe store.

You get off on devotion, and more power to you for that.
But you can't appeal to me with that approach, because
it doesn't do diddley-squat for me and never has. I
have other predilections, spiritually. They may be
lower in your eyes; no problem...they're your eyes.
But I follow my own predilections, as you follow yours.
