You should read Finnegan's Wake.  That'd keep you busy
for a while.  :-)  Playing with words in several lang-
uages, and with the sounds they make, relating them to
the sound of Dublin English.  About the only quote I can 
remember gives you a taste:

"In the name of the former, and of the latter, and
of their holocaust, all men."
