BTW, Swami Vishnudevananda was another person on Gurudev's will, so Swami Brahmananda was giving at least some weight to the will when he selected his sucessor. Swami Swaroopananda once asked why Swami Shatananda wasn't following the will, but in fact, it appears he was.
