When we think of the concept of 'Akasha'...
What do we think of?

" Space "

Yes, I heard that translation, also...
But, does this space also contain time?
Because this space contains 'records' through time...
And what is the difference conceptionally between space and the transcendent?

"Akashic records" is an idea conjured up by the Theosophists. There's actually no such universal repository by that name. There are spiritual dimensions where teaching reside, at a certain level of consciousness, but it has nothing to do with akasha per se, other than that some teaching are considered "hidden" in the sky.

Akasha is more related to the luminous quality of buddhi or chid- akasha, the inner expanse aspect of consciousness.
