Kevin,

Using and extending your own points, its clear that the 1000's of
published articles on SSRIs in peer reviewd journals, the FDA approval
studies of them, and in the acceptance of doctors to prescribe SRRIs,
is due to the FACT that they have extensively and REPEATEDLY shown to
BE MORE EFFECTIVE THAN A PLACEBO.*

How can you now possibly jump 180 degrees around from your own data
and logic and now declare that SRRIs are primarily a placebo effect?

*Albeit, a small number of studies are inconclusive and show no
difference. Which is to be expected. In normal statistical studies, at
least 1 out of 20 studies will produce a wrong answer. Thats why
repeated studies are encouraged.
