Rick has reported his direct interaction with Maharishi and the testimony of others that both he and Maharishi had contact with. You're making some large jumps with loaded words. From 'strongly prejudiced' to 'irrational gossip' to making 'stuff up'. Where's the logic in that? Some of the things that he reports are contrary to the image that Maharishi and the TMO project.
