I must defend the turq <gulp> on this one.
If TM makes everyone successful, why is not the status of everyone at that
level who practices it, as say, for the instance mentioned in whynotknow's
quote below?

Appreciating a view that appears negative, only means the mind of the seer is
holding it that way.

My reading of Turq's message, did not flank me, nor was I cubed. : )
"Barry," is pointing out the advertising redundancy intertwined connected-ness,
synonymous relationship being created, and to tell you the truth, it was not
long ago when the entities of that fab were reluctant to make any public
disclaimer to any of the media's whore behavior (note the word, media is
referenced to whore.) about the Maharishi, you know, the incidents reported so
negatively about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpFwqUoO1JA
Nor do I think John Lennon was shot because he wrote such "negative," music
lyrics. Just call it unstressing? : )

It was YEARS and YEARS later, subtle support showing up with the release of the
B Anthology, 1995(and the GH Natural law party, concert, 1992?, omitted from
the new documentary,or is that in there?).
...and I am not by any means dissing the Maharishi. (I practice TM, regularly
with no intention to stop.)
I am not dissing the Beatles, either.

Aunt Jemima http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUw-EpBv__o was not about pancakes
at one time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drlPqiLiTGY

Santa Claus is not real (except in our hearts and heads), and he is used for
advertising every year at Christmas, and it appears the Beatles will become the
future generations, Santa Claus of TM and that is repulsive advertising.
