What crap! Enlightenment, if it exists exists naturally and were it something 
to be "achieved" it would be an entirely personal event, no one can take 
responsibility for someone's enlightenment.

And were you to believe that they could, how, pray tell, could the 
establishment of an organization that has proven over the years to be 
deceitful, money hungry and a refuge for asses like Bevan and Neil Patterson 
help people get enlightened? How can telling lies and fear mongering (like 
telling you that your entire life is going to be garbage if you don't have 
yourself a Marshy SV house and office) contribute to enlightenment?

You're right. When someone asked him why he just didn't snap his fingers and 
make us all enlightened right away (we were about 50 people in the room) he 
replied "you'll burn up".
