Happy Sunday, btw! I recall MMY referring to Cosmic Ego, which was a brilliant 
wrench to throw into the works, when everyone was going around trying to be 
ego-less. 

I like that characterization, of ego as a tool, available at any point, to 
create individuality, focus intentions, and form convenient dualities, for 
action, enjoyment, and progress. Also a reminder that the horse pulling the 
carriage can become a bucking bronc, at any time.
