I am with you there, Jim, absolutely. I was SO blessed to be able to re-enter the dome for a few weeks at the start of the IA course back around 2006, after a self-imposed exile of some 24 years, and be "present" (by phone, anyhow) live with Maharishi for the first time in 25 years. I came to appreciate my relationship with my selves and the automatic "self-purification factory" of the Dome and the program and all of that on a whole new mind-blowing turn of the spiral.
