Thanks for the reply, but I was requesting a definition that didn't contain
hypothetical or anecdotal explanations. Where exactly is the science on
geneticaly modified foods? I can't find a single study on PubMed that indicates
that GMO foods are any kind of danger to humans.

Would someone please post some links to science articles about GMO foods? This
should not be any problem for the resident science-writers on FFL. Thanks.

"There is broad scientific consensus that food on the market derived from GM
crops poses no greater risk to human health than conventional food."

Maybe we need to define "GMO" - according to what I've read, there is no
difference between GMO and non - GMO foods. Can you please explain to us what a
GMO food is. Please use factual scientific terms. Try to avoid hypothetical,
speculative or anecdotal explanations. Thank you.

It should be pretty obvious. Nature didn't make it. It had to be "spliced" in.

Browning in fruit is an indication that the fruit is beyond ripe and largely
inedible for folks. It's kind of nature's "pull date" to use a supermarket
analogy. The fruit is still breaking down it just isn't showing its true
colors, so to speak.
