Newsome is just waiting for Jerry Brown to finish his term so that he can takeover the Democratic nomination for governor. As it is now, he could probably win if the election was held today.
After the reign of the Governator, I don't believe the Republicans have anybody to take over, for better or worse. Arnold caused some uproar with his maid story, but not as contentious as Bruce Jenner's gender transformation. Would you believe these guys are Republicans? Also, about twelve years ago, many of the Democrats here in SF were touting Newsome to be the next John F. Kennedy in the White House. But the idea quickly died when he got divorced. Now that he's apparently happily remarried, his political stock may be going up again. For some reason or the other, IMO he and Kamala Harris will be the next power candidates for the California Democrats when Feinstein and Pelosi retire. I can see Harris running for senator to take over Boxer's or Feinstein's position. ---In [email protected], <noozguru@...> wrote : The only thing that will work is a bottom up grassroots movement. Start by throwing out your stodgy city councils who are bought and paid for. Be wary though that some know some very mean people and you might have an "accident." They tell me locally that one council member who was planning to run for re-election and going against the status quo was told he wouldn't live long enough to take office. When Gavin Newsom, the former SF mayor, became Lieutenant Governor he told KGO radio host Karel that he couldn't believe how corrupt our state government is. His hands are probably very tied in that office. On 06/14/2015 02:37 PM, jr_esq@... mailto:jr_esq@... [FairfieldLife] wrote: MJ, Where have you been? Believe it or not, the election process is not only stated in the Constitution, but it is also shown in the national jyotish chart. The election process is the transformation aspect of the American karma which fuels its economic success in the domestic and international fronts. Without it, the country will be destroyed just as the Iraqi people are destroying themselves in the quest for tribal and religious superiority. The election process looks like a waste of time. But its a necessary transformation not only for the US government, but for any governments that follow democratic principles. ---In [email protected] mailto:[email protected], <turquoiseb@...> mailto:turquoiseb@... wrote : Already not looking forward to the horror that awaits us on !
