The "champion" yogic flyers (Blaine Watson, Eddie Gob, Matt Boutrand) were all accomplished athletes in their younger days - Blaine was a gymnast, Eddie a soccer player, Matt's built like an Olympian). Probably now, none of them can "fly" as well as they once did, even though their level of inner development has probably evolved.
