Intelligent doesn't necessarily mean in touch with reality. The Bush admin is filled with PhDs. Many evangelicals who think they're floating up to heaven in the rapture any day now hold down jobs requiring great technical expertise. I remember last summer when MMY inaugerated Sat Yuga - talking with campus types about what that meant. My favorite was that there would be no more winter in Iowa. Much more common views included the immediate end of Bush and the Iraq War and huge initiations for the tmo. Many otherwise intelligent people were expecting all sorts of completely unrealistic things to happen just because MMY inaugerated something. ------------------------ Yahoo!
