Dogs smell your crotch, they bark, and they salivate all over you
and the furniture. And if they're not poodles (which have their own
list of annoyances unique to their wretched subspecies), they
usually shed horribly. And that stupid loving look they give
you...and all because you give them bickies!
I have of late gotten into the habit of taking hikes with my
friend's goats. They're well-behaved, don't bark and they don't
wander away from you.
The pig is, well, just wonderful. And unlike a dog, when you get
tired of him, you can eat him! (well, just kidding about the last
part...I would only eat his legs).
