Just as you appear condescending and dismissive of Fred, and or the correlation Fred has found between a particular brain wave pattern signiture and reports of 24/7 witnessing. Who is to say your friend is Awake? You seem to take that as a given -- and fred must be wron in his work not to see the "obvious" in your friend. Apparently, your friends Awakening is different from the TMO enlightenement. Maybe its better. Maybe not. Maybe "better" is a Zen Mu question -- not relevant. Thats the point of my adjacent post -- and a number of others in the past. Local FF type awakening, by description of experience and attributes here on FFL, appear different from TMO "enlightenement". For example, strong clear experince of sidhis -- important for MMY's label of enlightenment, appears unimportant for the local FF awakening label.
