Wasn't a backpedal, and not only was it not something I "settled for," it was, as far as I'm concerned, a *far better solution*. you were *encouraging* taking the > film off the air so that it could not be seen > until *after* the upcoming elections. No, in the first place, as I've explained (and MDixon has confirmed), censorship is when the authorities *force* somebody to remove content. Not only am I not advocating censorship, I would fight tooth and nail against it. It's unconstitutional. To encourage ABC to choose to do the right thing in the interests of fairness is not "censorship" in any way, shape, or form. And I'd be *thrilled* if the public were to see it along with a rebuttal. > You didn't like it, so in your mind yanking > it off the air for blatantly political purposes > was OK. If ABC chose to do that, yes, of course it would be OK. ABC has the right to consider various points of view and make its own decisions as to what it should do. My point of view is that choosing to run it unedited, as scheduled, with a rebuttal would be the best solution. > You're a hypocrite. You're the hypocrite here, obviously.
