When I was reacting to the threats of the Iranian President, to the 'wiping Israel off the map', and that the 'holocaust is a myth'. I was reacting in self-defence; as many Israelis at the time were and are feeling the same way, now. And the Israelis would use nuclear weapons if they were forced to. I was speaking with a Jewish friend recently, who is a Viet Nam veteran; And he wants to "Nuke Iran, now, before it's 'too late, and they nuke us', he said... So, these are real kinds of tensions which have been building in the world, at present, and which Maharishi is helping to neutralize... And to ridicule a group of people who want to believe they are doing something, to 'smooth things out', or however you want to phrase it. I suppose nuclear weapons is the ultimate mockery of God's Creation. So, in retro-spect as I have said, these weapons are evil, and I was speaking out of fear, at that past time. So, If you think mocking is a good thing; I guess that's your perogative. R.G.
