Right, you might remember Christ said he came to forgive not to judge. Salvation was his message. Evidently the Apostles knew his views first hand on abortion or killing the unborn which would have been based upon his understanding of the Torah. The Didache is his teaching to the Nations, the gentiles, which was passed on by the Apostles. Abortion was not a problem among Jews to whom Jesus taught. They were very prolific. However it was common among the gentiles. Thus the need for the teaching.
