Trial and error, and some perbutation to the system from time to time,
is how evolution works and created humans -- as well as  french
cooking and the blues. 

And such trial and error works within the bounds of "laws of nature".
Thus, via trial and error, the laws of nature, in a sense, "speak" to man.
