Right- in the Ayurvedic case he is talking about poison in the body, 
toxins, and transforming that into health. When he is talking about 
SSRS, he actually pays SSRS a complement by noting that if you 
follow him, there is a good chance at enlightenment; he will sweetly 
poison the small self, transforming it into Being.
