Yeah, has to do (to a certain extent) with light (natural light) hitting the skin. In the absence of light you can get a deficiency of vit. D. My Orgonomist told me that it had a lot to do with absorption of orgone (prana, chi) also. There were certain recipes she recommended like Seaweed soup which were very helpful. We're now seeing a trend of people growing organic miniature Japanese veggies in the winter here. You subscribe to a greenhouse and then get so many greens as they are harvested, fresh. Small things like that seem to help, it's like a simple way to ingest the sun sans light exposure.
