Subject: [FairfieldLife] Re: The Night Technique - "the priority for
everyone"
I have to recommend the night technique, which used to be the first
advanced technique, but was abandoned when people found it difficult
to be innocent with it. I don't always get a strong result from doing
it, but it's supposed to make the morning meditation better, and it
frequently does that -- when I have a profound experience of the
night technique, the morning meditation is quite clearly better,
clearer, more satisfying.
I agree. In 1974 Maharishi told me (in front of a group) to meditate ½
hour before bed. I’ve done it ever since, but not so much lately. When
I do it, sleep is better and so is morning meditation. Usually I just
do mantra meditation, but sometimes remember to do the night
technique, which I got (for free) from Satyanand at Estes Park.
Is it the same as the "new" night technique?
The TMO's gone green, (in so many ways) so this must be the recycled
version.
