Actually we find that most users hardly struggle at all. All you need
is a course book and some training.

Plus if you like you can overhaul the specific wizard, remove features
you don't want or change the UI controls to those you do.

The reality is that FarCry is a very sophisticated solution. We have
built the default implementation to be mid-way between power users and
complete novices. If we provided a very simple default we would not
be able to showcase the more advanced features. And vice versa.

You say that adding images is illogical -- it would be insightful to
know what you think would be the "logical" way to insert images.

It would certainly be good to hear what you find confusing. That way
we can provide better documentation to make it less so.

Oracle has some problems with the installer. We are trying to resolve
these. That said we have many clients running Oracle quite happily.
However, we can only address the issues we know about -- you might
make some investment of time to resolve these.

That's a grand shame.

I would suggest you will not find any sort of magic bullet in the CMS
world. If you require a sophisticated solution, you will need to
invest time to configure a solution. Hoping that something will fit
your requirements without effort would be a vain hope.

Your other option might be to invest some money in mentoring, training
and/or consulting for your initial configuration. Certainly if you
purchased a commercial solution all these services would be part of
the implementation ;)
