I have to agree fully with Geoff on this. People get the package for
nothing. So it is pretty unfair to think that no cost will be incurred to
tailor it to specific requirements. This discussion has been had several
times on the FarCry list (and, in fact, in a more generic way on other
lists like CFAUSSIE).

IF a client was happy with the Aura look and feel AND they had enough
expertise to change some of the skinning AND they dont want anything other
than the HTML, News, Links, Events (etc.) that come with FarCry AND they
are prepared to learn a little about how the Admin and Container
interfaces work....... THEN they can probably get away with using FarCry
and spending no money.

BUT.......

* changing the skin generally needs someone with good HTML/CSS skills
* rarely will any client just be happy with the basic content objects (no
matter what CMS you buy or what it comes with)
* most people are "lazy" and want to be shown stuff rather than work it
out for themselves

You'll need web designer and graphics skills for the skinning, CFMX
programming skills for the additional content objects, and training skills
to show them how it works.

And, in our business, the above things cost money.

In Morgans case, we have the majority of the skills in-house. The
salaries were already being paid. So for us it is a "free" solution
(because in one way or another, the staff would be here doing whatever is
necessary to maintain and develop the website). But it still costs us
money. Any solution would.
