I put this out to the community to really get some feedback on what people are eager to see and spark some discussion about the priorities we need to give to various areas of the code base.
- Browser support has come up a few times with my clients (Safari and Firefox).
- The rich text editor integration would be very helpful.
- Multi-site support. Like other CMS systems it would be useful to allow Farcry to manage multiple websites under one installation. Unfortunately I don't see this happening under the current framework, but I thought I'd throw it out there :).
- Statistics aggregation is a great suggestion. Especially purging older than "x" days would be nice. A recent FC site I released has a DB that is growing fast due to site stats (about 100MB / week). The client won't let me remove the stats feature because they like it better than their web log analytic tools.
... we're going to need help from the community to achieve this.
If I can I'd like to offer some ideas for the new FriendlyURL servlet integration for Farcry 2.4.
