which i suppose would also go a long way to having better i18n on the front-end--though i'm not a fan of having separate sites for separate locales/languages.
What about the concept of separate branches for separate languages? The other option is to make the primary key for content types objectid/locale and adding a locale property to the types.cfc abstract class.
