Having passed this paper I feel somewhat guilty to be handing out
advice on what you should not leave out.

Notwithstanding this, I think its a big risk to be leaving out
Defamation and/or Passing Off. Defamation is almost a banker and if I
recall correctly when it is omitted from the paper Passing Off takes
it's place.

Occupiers Liability seems like a big one to leave out too but
personally I always found Occupiers to be a nice area to cover.

This is a stinker of a paper and the conventional wisdom amongst of
the FE-1 brigade, that it is better to know a little about a lot
rather than a lot about a little, definitely applies here in my
experience. Also in this exam, and I'm sure you're all aware of this,
there is always a problem question that will, if not read properly,
cause you to apply the law in relation to one tort when in fact he is
examining you about a completely different topic. The obvious examples
of this in recent years is Defamation/Passing off and Nervous Shock/
Intention to Harm.
