To be honest, what i can see happening is something similar to that
with the taxis at the moment...everytime someone has a go at them, i
do think that they do have a point, because i can see myself moaning
like them in a couple of years...
What is evident though is that we need action and fast...a new report
should be initiated over the performance of the profession in the last
few years and the need for tighter regulation...
However, if any such measures were implemented such as a mandatory
requirement of a course for non law students, this could be all too
late, and you could find that there will be no one on the courses...
The next few years we will see many turn away from the profession due
to litle apprenticeships given. This might perhaps leave those who
arn't just looking for a quick buck and actually have an interest in
the area. It might level off numbers somewhat...that is until the next
boom...
