hey everyone, i dunno what we can expect the law society to do. "law
society are flooding 700 more..." i mean the way i see it is these 700
people have worked their back off doing degrees, fe 1 exams and
apprenticeships to get qualified. what the hell are they meant to do
after all of this. the only constuctive thing i would hope the law
society could possibly do is to lobby for recognition of the fe 1
exams in other countries but even at that other countries are
suffering from a glut of solicitors.
i think its a complete waste of time looking for a report of the
performance by the law society. i think all you need to know is that
there is now a heap of solicitors on the rock and roll. what report do
you want.
i think things in general and from a solicitors point of view are
gonna go back to the old days where you get pittens, "if anything" for
an apprenticship you will work a pile of hours and it might be 10 to
15 years before you are on 50k or more and personally i hope this is
sooner rather than later as so many people in this country are out of
touch with reality. we just gotta get on with it.
