I would agree with you as regards the experience. I worked as a
trainee and Legal secretary for 4 years and to be honest, you couldn't
buy that experience. (and i studied whilst working full time with no
prep courses and I did a postgrad at the same time) As i said, those
with experience or those who have gone that extra hurdle...Maybe those
with apprenticeships should be the only ones to take the exams, but i
don't think it really matters. it's just a time barrier in my mind. If
someone will hire you they'll hire you.
