Well, it's what kdewin ships and they're the main cross-platform user of D-Bus. AFAIK, stock D-Bus is still missing some of the required patches/fixes. > When I looked at this I concluded that someone needed to take the > patches which have been added by windbus and merge them into the Unix > DBus sources. Yes, but some of the patches may not be accepted as is without some redesign. The main reason why a separate windbus project exists is that D-Bus upstream didn't merge all the patches required to support the inferior operating system. Even D-Bus upstream points to windbus: http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/dbus#head-04cafb2f7bd8608683af50dbaa089106271c8e9d Kevin Kofler _______________________________________________ fedora-mingw mailing list [email protected] https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/fedora-mingw
