The srpm doesn't rebuild on my devel FC, I guess because %{python_libdir} isn't expanded. Moreover the .pyo are included. You could use the snippet at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Python#head-01f2df6d8ffc1100844fce3a24b2449fa3bbe679 to get rid of them.
