Why not? Do they all taste different that much that they interfere with one
another?

Because you try that many scotches in one sitting you're going to be blind
drunk on your ass in a couple of hours? And you don't even want to consider
the hangover the next day.

Worst hangover of my entire life aged sixteen and a half after getting absolutely totally unbelievably drunk on whiskey. I stupidly went to bed and drank a 37.5cl bottle of single malt in about two hours. I ended up with mild alcohol poisoning and a two day hangover... I got that drunk trying to kill the pain of a broken heart.... two days later after the hangover had just about faded I still had the broken heart. Now twenty two years later even the smell of whiskey is enough to rapidly bring on nausea.
