I'm old school. I like books. If you're looking for the best of all answers, consider an iPad with Kindle software and ebook reader software, that way you get everything. If price is an issue, the b&w Kindle is a nice alternative, but you're limited to Amazon's stuff (unless you have the means to convert software on your computer and load it to the Kindle).
