Haha...nothing to apologise about Fi. Not every thread interests everyone, and
it was joint reasoning between needing to clear some inbox space and curiosity
about how many Kindle-related e-mails had actually been sent around that had me
delete them.

I have been debating with myself about moving with the times and buying a
kindle. Does anyone on here have one? Would you recommend it or should i stay
with going to the book shop and buying books?

It's safe to say the whole Kindle/actual book debate splits opinions, there are
obviously big positives and negatives to each side. Personally, I'm all for
books and will remain so as long as possible. An indication on varying opinions
just on the list is highlighted by the fact I just deleted nigh on 400 e-mails
with 'Kindle' as the subject. <g>
