You have a good point there Martjin. I used to live in London but moved to
Germany a few years back, and shop for books generally from
Amazon.co.ukbecause they
*weren't yet available *from Amazon.de. Now, while the situation appears to
be getting better in that I purchased A Crown Imperilled from Amazon.de a
couple of minutes ago (thanks Ray!), there is still a huge disparity
between what is possible and what is actually done in the publishing world.
Yes, I know there are agreements as to who owns the publishing rights per
country, and a mire of contractual issues to be overcome.

Still, wouldn't it be nice if at some point we could go to an ebook store
which says "Hello, I see you are in Ireland and looking for Magician's End.
It was published today on dead trees in UK, DE and AU. I have several
editions and languages available. Please chose one to continue...".
