Hmmm.. actually the idea is: Felix provides a portable platform
based on *source* code (not bytecode). So it should appeal to
Unix and C/C++ people as an alternative approach to .NET
or Java.

In particular it should appeal to Open Source developers
for that reason.

varray and new exist now. Neither is finished .. but then
what does finished mean? :)

None really. I'm not a member of that community anymore.
I have no idea how to do it. I'm not a marketer, diplomat,
salesman, or any of those things needed for promotion.

The problem is: it will never be 'ready'. Chicken and egg: to get
it into a better state, we need more people.

Hmm .. wasn't it you that wrote the Wikipedia article?

Cool!

The thing is: this isn't about the technology as such.
That matters of course, but it's a community project so
if it doesn't do what you want, you can change it.
There's no DB interface .. want one? Do it!

We were hovering on 3 developers and 0 users, but it's
down to 1 again. It's below critical mass.

Sigh .. just rebuilt the docs with the new working folding
tables of contents.. and sourceforge won't let me connect
using ssh to upload ..
