Kelly,
It will also help to have the woman's name and description, (the one
who is turning in cats), when writing to the SPCA. If this is their
policy to take multiple cats without question, then the general
policy must be addressed as well. Please let the poor distraught
woman whose cats were taken know that a campaign has been
started. Perhaps those sweet kitties will not have died in
vain. Perhaps, as awful as it is, this is what it took to get
enough people involved to change the "shelter's" policy. If those
that aren't willing to snail mail protests will send you emails
instead, they could be printed out and hand delivered. There is a
petition internet "service" that could be contacted so that those in
authority, (above the SPCA director's), might become involved.
Sometimes it's hard not to lose faith in the human race. Those that
care may be in the minority, but we do our best to make up for it by
being louder and more dedicated.

You just got it on the list Kelly. Go ahead and broadcast the
woman's address who is turning in cats to the shelter! Let's hit
her with a flood of mail about how horrible we all think her
actions are. Let's let her know the world is watching her!

Thanks Nina so much
Here are the particulars..I phoned the Fresno SPCA and basically
they do not take information from anyone bringing "STray " cats to
them,,,and it is done all day long, They claim they keep them 5
days before euthanizing them but this was not the case,,
Their Phone number is 559 233 SPCA
their address is 1035 S. Hughes Fresno Ca 93706
I will private email the address of the woman doing this so
perhaps if she gets enough letters she will stop/.
the only EMAIL address I have for the SPCA is
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I couldn't believe it when she said they take no information from
people turning in animals.
I am not sure how to get this on the list Nina so would you mind
either directing me there or just posting this information there.
thanks so very much
Kelly
Kelly,
Send all the contact info directly to the list, (the woman's name
and description, SPCA contact email, etc). This is something
that all our members would be inclined to get behind. If we can
flood the particular parties, (esp the SPCA) with demands to stop
this, there is a chance they will listen. What a deplorable situation!
Thank you for calling it to our attention.

I wonder if it would help for people to write or email the SPCA,
naming this
woman and asking them not to accept any more pets from her. Can
you get the
particulars for the SPCA -- address, e-mail etc? I Googled Fresno CA SPCA
and got a hit, but if there's more than one she could be taking them to,
that would be good.
Please send me her name as well -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks!
