Hi Jody and welcome.

I wish I had tips to give you on a good diet. My holistic vet
believes a raw diet is best for both cats and dogs, but the
FeLV virus makes that an exception.

I have tried to find the best quality commercial food (if that really
exists) and have fed her whatever she will eat. Right now she is
eating Wellness.

There is a site called 'Pet Connection' which is run by really
knowledgeable
people as well a vet and they often discuss how to feed, good non
commercial diets. You might ask them your question.

I have used Wellness as a means of getting supplements (l-lycine, DMG,
probiotics etc) into my kitty because I can add water and make it into
a mush that does not hurt her gums.

I'm glad that your guys are well.

Jane
