Kelly does rescue work and had a shelter-environment set up with a number of kitties.
A few years ago someone thought she was not taking good enough care of them, accused her of being a hoarder, & got the authorities involved. Best Friends - although they knew of her & her rescue work - did not come to her defense. It did not turn out well for her.
