Have you tried putting them on either side of a door and letting them get used
to the other' s scent. Then gradually allow them to see each other and finally
interact. There will always be hisses, slaps and little squabbles, it happens
with many in one house, but I have never had a serious bloody battle.
Sometimes it sounds like it but usually it amounts to noise, posturing and then
one backs down. Annie, Nitnoy and Lil Bit are my bigget screamers and
slappers. They all seem to have issues from their past life, but even they
don't draw blood. Jus scream, slap and run. It is sort of like brothers and
sisters quarreling. Then, when the house is dark and no one can see the others
moving about, they all end up on my bed sleeping about 2' apart. Mostly t is
the sudde appearance of another cat rounding te corner that sets them off.

Hi.  I have been reading so much input from everyone.  It is really very eye
opening.  O.K.  Perhaps the cats can be mixed.  However, as I said, the trio
don't get along. I would still need to place Chloe (FELV).  I would love to see
her in a home with just one other cat, so she can bond.  Probably an FELV cat.
So, if you think you can help, i would just love it.  I am so at a quandry what
to do.
She loves my other cat, Lion (FIV).  They were from the same clan.  However, I
just truly am concerned about mixing the two together and placing together.
I may, however, consider this.  They were the "Dynamic Duo".  Playing and
licking and sleeping together.  I am open for any help anyone can offer to
place Chloe and/or possibly Chloe/Lion.  I can send pictures.  They are both
cute.  Dotty

As it appears you really don't want to keep this cat perhaps you can
let us know where you live so we can try and help?
